Pinky Cheng

Pinky Cheng is a certified Waldorf kindergarten teacher with over a decade of experience in early childhood education. Since founding her Waldorf kindergarten in 2014, she has passionately dedicated herself to fostering holistic learning experiences for young children.

 

As a Waldorf practitioner, Pinky is deeply invested in sharing the principles of Waldorf pedagogy with both children and adults. She designs and teaches parenting programs that empower families to incorporate Waldorf teachings into their home environments, helping to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

 

Additionally, Pinky established the Hong Kong Waldorf Education training center in 2016, where she serves as a tutor in their internationally recognized Waldorf teacher training programme. In this role, she specializes in instructing courses on Waldorf foundation, storytelling, and handcraft.

 

Pinky's personal experience as a Waldorf parent further enriches her educational approach. She is a mother of two children who have thrived within the Waldorf system, attending Pinky's own kindergarten and the local Waldorf school where her husband Mark is a founding member. In her free time, Pinky takes pleasure in the simple joys of life, such as cooking nourishing meals for her family and spending quality time with her beloved cats.
